You will never know the love that you need, but the mere kindnesses that you give yourself. Within each person lies the love that they truly believe is enough for themself; but to connect with another person, and let them gift you that love; that is: quintessential human connection--that if you should overlook--you will have died half the person that you should've been. To be blind to it, is tragic, but to reject it, is inhuman. The warmth of another human's spirit will never grow cold, if all you sought were its safe harbours.
